Semi Permanent Makeup is a form of light penetration tattooing that enhances your natural features and gives you a beautifully groomed, sexy look day after day.
BENEFITS OF SPMU
Semi Permanent Makeup is growing in popularity in men and women who want to enhance their natural beauty. It saves you time by eliminating the need to apply makeup every morning, perfect for busy mums. It doesn't smudge therefore will ensure you look absolutely fabulous throughout your wedding day. It's 100% waterproof which makes it brilliant for holiday, whether you're lounging on the beach or splashing in the pool, as well as working out at the gym. It can boost confidence in people with medical conditions such as alopecia.
DO I NEED A CONSULTATION?
Yes, I provide FREE no obligation consultations, it allows me to answer any questions/concerns as well as carrying out a patch test.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE PROCEDURE?
I will evaluate the most suitable pigments for you, taking into consideration your skin tone and personality, next I will create the desired shape using a conventional make-up pencil so you can see the intended result. If you agree with the shape, design and colour, then the pigment will be carefully implanted into the skin. It can take about an hour and a half for the procedure.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Semi Permanent Makeup longevity is dependent upon certain factors, but usually between 2 – 5 years. Because the colour will gradually fade over the years, I always recommend a colour boost every 12 – 18 months to keep your makeup looking fresh.
DOES IT HURT?
It’s no more painful than having your eyebrows tweezed. However I do use a topical anaesthetic cream will numb the area before the procedure. I've had clients who have fallen asleep during the procedure, but everyone's pain threshold is different.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME?
You can carry on with your day as normal immediately after treatment, some swelling and redness may occur but this generally subsides within 24 to 48 hours. As the skin heals, the treated area will form a protective crust over the forthcoming days and the final healed result of the treatment will be about 40% lighter than the immediate result. You will need to have a top up appointment 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure to check the shape and colour of the healed brows as well as taking care of any adjustments to give you the perfect brows.
